It is often said that you can tell what a people value by listening to the stories they tell children.
I came across this film a few weeks ago, and remembered seeing a portion of it in a middle school french class. It means so much more now that I am older. Watch the film and tell me what you think. Don't worry! There are subtitles! Runtime: 74 mins
I ABSOLUTELY loved this! I mean of course im not a friend of the women being topless but it was true to form & reality. Aside from the film being well done in artistic quality and well executed plot, i think what was so moving about this film was the symbolism; The thorn in Karaba's back, pain, black relationships, etc...it was brillant.I only wish I had seen this when I was younger...I'll be sure not to make the same mistake with my children...
